Greg is an experienced and internationally minded educator who has taught in Canada, Germany, China and for the past 8 years in Singapore.
Joining the EtonHouse Education Group in 2011, Greg has both taught and developed school curriculum in the PYP as a classroom teacher of Year 2, 3, 5 and 6. He has held various leadership roles such as Science Coordinator, Lead-teacher for Years 5 and 6 and Academic Board member for overall school development. Greg is also an experienced Middle School teacher, basketball coach and martial arts instructor. He is also very passionate about sharing his love of the outdoors and outdoor activity with students. He has been instrumental in developing overseas camps for Primary and Middle school students, implementing and delivering Outdoor Education programmes and teaching about environmental sustainability within the EtonHouse group. Greg believes that “To foster well-rounded, internationally-minded students, educators must create an inclusive, challenging and engaging environment that promotes both independent and collaborative learning.”
Greg holds a Bachelor of Education (First Class Honours) from Lake Head University, a Bachelor of Arts (major in Criminal Justice and Public Policy) from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Law and Security Administration from Conestoga College of Arts and Technology.
Sylvia Margaret Edwards

A graduate Environmental Scientist, Sylvie has taught in schools in the United Kingdom, Zambia, Spain, China, Thailand and now Singapore. She has used her skills to help schools develop and grow, especially in the implementation of the IB Diploma programme. Her hobbies include travel, cooking and renovating her home in Spain.

Dean of Culture
John is an experienced English teacher who holds a BA in English Literature from Lancaster University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Manchester. He has several years’ experience in teaching the IGCSE to secondary students from a range of backgrounds. He has lived in Singapore since 2015 and was previously the Head of Special Educational Needs at the British Council. His passions in education are debate and critical thinking –internationally, he has delivered seminars on the application of critical thinking in the classroom to teachers in Myanmar and Jordan. Outside of the classroom, his passions are boxing and rugby league (he’s an avid follower of the UK side the Warrington Wolves).
Christopher is an experienced contemporary percussionist and music educator from Boston Massachusetts (U.S.A.) He is also an alumni of the prestigious Berklee College of Music and former member of the United States Army Band. He has been active in the global music community for over 12 years as a performer, clinician, group and private instructor. While in college, he began teaching music individually, and ultimately founded a broad-based music school, where he assembled a team of highly talented music teachers from the Boston community. Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance. Hobbies include playing the piano, composing and spending time with my wife and son.
Kelly holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from Charles Sturt University, Australia. She is also holding a Post-Graduate Certificate in Educations (PGCE – Secondary Mathematics) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS – Secondary Mathematics).
She is an experienced Mathematics Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education industry. She has extensive experience teaching ESL students across year levels and has developed teaching and learning skills from the mathematics department she worked with. She is also an experienced IGCSE curriculum coordinator. She loves to travel, box, climb and snowboard, and looks forward to starting this new stage of her life at EtonHouse Orchard.
Having been inspired by his Physical Education teachers in school, he went on to study a 4-year teaching degree at Leeds Becket University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Education. He has taught in the UK, Australia and Kuwait and had experience in a variety of school leadership and teaching positions. He believes that Physical Education is a vital aspect of pupil development and is essential to promote critical thinking, problem-solving and facilitate social development. He is a passionate athlete and has numerous interests and hobbies including football, boxing, running, cycling and a variety of other sports.
Alexander has over ten years of international experience specialising in the IBDP. He graduated from Edinburgh Napier University (Scotland) in 2004 and later studied at the University of Georgia (USA) and University of Buckingham (England) where he received his Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Alex is originally from Scotland but has lived and worked in North and Central America for the last ten years and is married with one son. Alexander was awarded “Educator of Distinction” in 2011 by the National Society of High School Scholars. When he is not working, he enjoys travel, swimming and music. He is an enthusiastic football fan and still supports his local Scottish team, St Mirren.
Alejandra is a versatile teacher who specialises in the IBDP. Her experience in the TV industry allows her to teach a range of academic subjects including Film, Information Technology in a Global Society, Theory of Knowledge, Spanish and Drama. She graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (Mexico) in 2003 and later studied at the University of Georgia (USA) and the University of Buckingham (England) where she received her Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Alejandra was awarded “Young Creator” by the Mexican National Council for Culture and Arts in 2008.

Geraldine holds a Bachelors Degree in Primary Education BA Hons with QTS and is currently pursuing Masters Degree in Education for Sustainability from London South Bank University, London. She has over ten years of experience in a variety of school leadership and teaching positions and is a big advocate of Philosophy for Children (P4C). Geraldine also helped to develop a new and more holistic curriculum across the Primary School and worked closely with the Secondary School on Global Issues projects and helped to organise speakers for a large multi-school event She is a teacher of EtonHouse International School at Orchard, Singapore.

Liam holds a Bachelor’s degree focused in Education from Edge Hill College of Higher Education, England. He is an experienced Mathematics Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry and Special Education department. He is also skilled in E-Learning, lecturing, editing, public speaking, and curriculum development. He is a teacher of EtonHouse International School at Orchard, Singapore.
Mu Lin Adelia
Senior Mandarin teacher and curriculum coordinator
Mu Lin Adelia holds a Master’s Degree in Arts (Chinese Language & Literature) from Nanjing University, China and a Harvard BOK Teaching Certificate from Harvard University. She is also holding A Diploma of Educational Study from the College of Teachers, U.K. She has over 14 years of experience in a variety of school leadership and teaching positions. She is experienced in founding and developing Mandarin in high-performance international schools based on IB PYP, MYP, DP and British IGCSE curriculum. Ms Mu is also a multi-skilled teacher in Performing arts with the qualification of China Arts and has a Diploma in Dance Education from Beijing Dance Academy.
Michaela is an experienced primary school teacher from Australia. She worked in various schools across Sydney and Melbourne before moving to Singapore. Michaela graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney with a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Modern History). She is passionate about teaching a holistic education, taking into account the individual needs of every student.
EAL Coordinator and Teacher
Kieran is an experienced EAL teacher with a BA in History and Politics from the University of Limerick and a first class honours Master’s degree in teaching English as a second language from University College Dubin. He has almost ten years teaching experience across primary and secondary. He has taught in a wide variety of contexts in Ireland, Spain, Dubai and Singapore. Since 2017, Kieran has lived in Singapore and was previously an English teacher at the British Council. One of his passions is teacher training and he has delivered teacher training workshops and seminars at the British Council and Eton House. Inside the classroom, Kieran is passionate about developing presentation skills and learning through the use of video and short films. Outside the classroom he enjoys
traveling, languages and culture, sports and keeping fit.
I am lucky enough to have spent most of my life doing something I love, and this is simply making things and drawing. This has led me into industry followed by a long career in teaching 26 years to date, During this time I have set up and managed courses in both engineering and Art, and developed methods of teaching students to get in
touch with their creative side and believe this is made easier by giving them the 2D and 3D skills to realise this. I studied industrial design before completing a BA Honors in ceramics sculpture, followed by a PGCE in Design technology and an MA in digital film and animation. I still feel the best thing in teaching is learning.

Alison holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology and Qualified Teacher Status from the Universities of Teesside and Bedford (UK) respectively, and a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy from the School of Positive Psychology here in Singapore. Alison is a certified Autism specialist (IBCCES) and is undertaking her MEd in Special Educational Needs and Disability through Middlesex University, UK.
Oliver is from Austria and has 5 years of teaching experience in the UK and at an Austrian bilingual school. The passion for his subject and teaching drive him to inspire and encourage students to explore the world by enquiry. He is very excited to join EtonHouse with enthusiasm for his subject, knowledge in pastoral care and adaptive teaching. Oliver holds a degree in Physics from University if Exeter and a PGCE from University of Reading.
Olivia is an experienced science teacher who holds a 1st Class Honours BSc in Biomedical Science from the University Of Plymouth (UK) and a PostGraduate Certificate of Education from the University Of Chester. As a teacher she combines her lifelong passions for science and education. In her previous school in the UK Olivia has been instrumental in the development and implementation of new GCSE curriculums as well as overseeing the Health Education curriculum across the entire school. Being able to combine her expertise in science with health and well-being education has been an exciting challenge that she has relished over the last few years. Olivia believes that educating pupils academically and artistically is important but also believes that caring for the whole child is crucial.
Physical Education Teacher
Sofia was born in Quito, Ecuador. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Health and Physical Education from Southeastern Oklahoma University in the United States. Sofia also holds a PostGraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Nottingham (UK). Sofia is an experienced sports coach; working with players and teams in tennis, basketball, and football at several sports facilities and country clubs in Curacao, the United States, and Ecuador. She has coached a school-league-winning girl’s football team. Sofia has wide experience both inside and outside the classroom. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, traveling and studying languages.
Mathematics and Business Studies Teacher
Jack is an experienced maths teacher currently working in the UK. He studied for a degree in Applied Mathematics and Business Studies from the University of the West of England in Bristol, UK. Following this he went on to further study for his PGCE and now holds a PGCE with QTS in secondary mathematics education. His experience in education has covered teaching from primary school through to sixth form. Jack has experience in successfully supporting students transitions from primary to secondary school. He has actively taken on additional responsibilities in his current school, including improving numeracy on a school wide scale. Outside of school Jack likes to be active and enjoys climbing, cycling, travelling and cooking.
Annie Jones is an accomplished Art Educator assisting in the advancement of knowledge, artistic aptitude and creative skills. Holding the enthusiasm to embed the importance and value which the creative arts encapsulates in education and beyond. Studying a varied range of art subjects including fine art, photography, art history, illustration, fashion and graphics. Annie chose to specialise completing a Ba(Hons) in Architectural glass, Glass and Ceramics and Masters in Ceramics at the University of Sunderland, UK. In 2015 Annie completed her teaching qualification for secondary Art, Craft and Design. Relocating to Qatar in 2016 as a founding teacher to develop a successful CREATE faculty including Art & Design, Food Technology and Design Technology Departments within a new school.
Agnes graduated from University of Southern Queensland, with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology). Prior to that, she was practicing social work with children, teens and families. She has experience in family counselling in various setting, particularly in the health & medical, mainstream and inclusive education industry. An advocate for inclusive
education, she firmly believes in inclusion and everyone can learn despite their challenges and struggles. She is also an active volunteer an organization that does community outreach.
